This set tells the story of how Pro footballer, Flash Gordon (Sam Jones), travelled from Earth to Mongo to defeat the evil Ming (Max von Sydow). Accompanying him are Dale Arden (Melody Anderson) and Dr Zarkov (Topol). They soon find themselves amid a battle for the throne. Also stars Timothy Dalton and Brian Blessed.
