Akir is under threat from Sador (John Saxon) so Shad (Richard Thomas) scours the galaxy looking for mercenaries who will help defend his planet. 
He finds a variety of warriors who join the fight, some for honour, some for a sport and some for a place to hide. Also stars Robert Vaughan, George Peppard and Sybil Danning. 
The story of each character is told on the reverse of each card.
