This is a 45 card set representing the lineage of the English then British Monarchy from William the Conqueror in 1066 through to King Charles the 3rd in 2022.
 Also included are the national figures who ruled in the absence of a monarch such as 12th century Empress Matilda and Oliver Cromwell in the 17th century. 
Each Monarch has carved their name in history and there is a mini biography on the reverse of each card.
