Alex Rogan (Lance Guest) dreams of a more exciting life. He spends his day playing a video game not knowing it is designed to recruit him into a galactic war! When he hits the top score he is taken to the planet Rylos who's people are in a deadly war with the Ko-Dans led by the crazed Xur (Norman Snow). He does not want to fight but when all the remaining Starfighters are killed he teams up with Grig (Dan O'Herlihy) and they take the war to the enemy in the Gunstar fighter. Will his arcade game skills be enough?  
The story of the movie is told on the reverse of each card.
