Jack Carter (Michael Caine) is a London gangster who travels north to investigate the death of his brother. He soon realises that he was murdered and that his niece has been co-erced into adult movies. He seeks revenge on those who killed his brother and corrupted his niece but his own bosses and the Northern gangsters are after his head.
Also stars Ian Hendry, John Osborne and Britt Ekland.
The story of the movie is told throughout the reverse of the cards.
