With Renegade Apaches causing chaos amid the American Civil war Major Dundee (Charlton Heston) leads a command of Union Volunteers (inc. Jim Hutton), condemned prisoners (inc. Richard Harris, Warren Oates), hustlers (inc. Slim Pickens) and a host of undesirables to track them down. There is tension in the camp between the North and South soldiers and eventually they run into a vengeful French Cavalry unit to add to their troubles.
The story of each character is shown on the reverse of each card.
