Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) has been adrift in space for 57 years when she found in stasis. Her services are required when contact is lost with planet LV-426, long since colonised after the events of Alien. She teams up with a tough Marine unit but they find the creatures are more than a match for their high-tech weaponry. They also find a little girl called Newt (Carrie Henn) who has survived against all odds. Also stars Michael Bhien, Bill Paxton, Janette Goldstein, Lance Henriksen, Paul Reiser and Al Matthews.
