David (David Naughton) sees his friend Jack (Griffin Dunne) killed by a werewolf before he is also attacked. He wakes up in a London Hospital where he falls for his nurse Alex (Jenny Agutter).
David is visited by the un-dead Jack who warns him he will become a Werewolf. The prophecy comes true and David goes on a killing spree. Only love and death will bring him peace.
