Gustav Niemann (Boris Karloff) escapes from prison along with the deformed Daniel. He intends to continue his bother's work of brain experiments and is determined to recover the remains of Frankenstein's monster. Along the way he encounters Dracula (John Carradine) and the Wolfman (Lon Chaney jr). This gathering of monsters is the mightiest clash yet.
