This set represents the winner of the first Academy Award for best picture in 1927.
It is 1917 and America joins The Great War. Jack (Buddy Rogers) and David (Richard Arlen) are rivals for Sylvia. Mary (Clara Bow) is in love with Jack but he is oblivious to her. Jack and David join the air force and become friends. Mary is an ambulance driver who realises Jack in in action in France. David is presumed dead after a battle but is alive. However, there will be tragedy when he meets his friend up in the clouds.
 The story of the movie is told on the reverse of the cards.
